Jeremy Scott closes his spring 2013 fashion show with music by Panjabi MC at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Milk Studios

Jeremy did not disappoint his fans at his Spring/Summer 2013 preview on Wednesday. The packed show at Milk Studios on Manhattan’s far west side included front row stars Paris Hilton, Tyra Banks, Sky Ferreira, Swiss-Beatz, Adam Clayton, The Misshapes, Grimes, Cara Delevigne, Jodie Harsh, Adam Lambert and the Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte.

“I kept hearing about the Arab Spring in the news,” he said backstage. “I wanted to use it — the desert, the colors. But also I wanted to mix some elements of Harlem in there too. And there was an element of Rihanna, whom I’ve dressed.”

Jeremy Scott is an American fashion designer, He has built a reputation for outrageous designs favored by pop stars and celebrities, including Madonna, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Kanye West,[Björk, Beyoncé, M.I.A.,Britney Spears, R Fergie, Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, Nicki Minaj, Kylie Minogue, Victoria Beckham, Lil Wayne, and Lady Gaga to name a few. DJ Panjabi MC was expected to fully sell out his Melafestivalen 2012 appearance, and that he surely did. The event has had an extremely positive impact on the city of Oslo and the Melafestivalen organisers proved that Norway can host such a huge international event without incident.

The MTV dance award winning music sensation ensured this year's festival went out on a high, figuratively speaking of course. The arena was busy with revellers from early afternoon; by the time gates opened the queues snaked round the corner. But any act that front-loads his set with some of his biggest hits clearly has the confidence to match his craft. Brimming with energy and enthusiasm, and presiding over a spectacular stage show, PMC had the fans moving throughout with mind-bending beats and anthemic refrains. With PMC dominating the decks the party could of been set to continue all night.
